Price Industries Inc. is on the search for a Continuous Improvement Engineer for its growing US office and manufacturing facility located in Suwanee, GA. This position will report to the Continuous Improvement Manager and will utilize proven operational leadership, experience and expertise in lean principles, along with a strong communication ability to optimize process workflow to eliminate non-value added effort. The position oversees results-oriented performance improvement initiatives using proven methods, with a strong Lean approach supported by a Six Sigma background, while ensuring accountability, focus, and strategic alignment. The Manager identifies key opportunities and gaps in the business processes in line with the Plant’s operational objectives. They will align resources to these priorities, leverage improvement methods, tools and techniques to drive improvements with aggressive timelines to improve productivity.


Lead the organization in continuous improvement initiatives and drive the organization to greater levels of CI certification
Lead Continuous Improvement Engineers to effectively implement activities and initiatives
Monitor existing processes to make sure they perform at optimal levels of efficiency
Drive the improvement of processes and systems in the company and implement programs that will have continuing long-term benefits
Develop plans and schedules for projects to improve existing processes & communicate to all levels.
Assists all teams with goal-setting and tracking for continuous improvement measures within the plant
Chooses and applies continuous improvement tools to improve manufacturing efficiency
Utilizes Lean and Six Sigma tools to drive change
Acts as a mentor and knowledge resource for continuous improvement
Trains individuals and teams in the use of basic lean tools to promote a culture of continuous improvement
Challenge status quo and think beyond roadblocks, past experience, and current practices to employ creative solutions
Develop value stream maps and identify critical paths to eliminate non-value added activities
Produce reports and plans of action utilizing Lean principals including Visual Management, Work Cells, Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, Value Streams Maps, Ishikawa, and SMED to improve productivity, increase process efficiencies, and reduce costs.
Develop analytical tools and reports, determine process performance baselines, maintain process performance measurements, and statistically analyze metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Other duties may be assigned

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in engineering, manufacturing or related area.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in continuous improvement role at a manufacturing facility that relies heavily on roll forming equipment
Proven experience in a metal working environment preferably in a shop floor managerial role.
Exceptional knowledge of Lean & Six Sigma Continuous Improvement concepts
Project management experience
Experienced, goal-oriented leader with proven ability to drive organizational change
Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment and have experience with team leadership
In-depth knowledge of various CI tools (VSM, Fishbone Diagrams, Spaghetti Diagrams, FMEA’s, PDCA, 8D Process).
Demonstrated success in driving change that is visual & reflected in the P&L plus a proven ability to lead / facilitate teams and possess excellent human relations skills.
