The CDS Support Representative will be in a support roll that will assist the CDS team with day-to-day activities and provide carriers/drivers information on NFI Brokerage shipments. This is a second shift position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Receive inbound phone calls from carriers / drivers / shippers that have a need for information related to their order. This may include providing information such as addresses or directions to a given location.
Utilize Brokerage TMS systems to address issues and document interaction with client / vendor.
Deal directly with carriers for tracking and tracing (via on-line tracking tools or through telephone contact).
Follow specific escalation process in the event of major service failure / issue.
Respond promptly to carrier needs.
Provide the Sales/Carrier reps with real time information where required.
Accurate and timely entry into operation system of loads status
Other operational duties as they relate to the assistance of the CDS staff
Associates or Bachelor's degree required
Background in sales prefered
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
Communication skills – verbal and written.
Customer-focused team player.
Time management skills.
Computer knowledge of Internet email and MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
Well organized with high attention to detail and accuracy.
