Corporate Services (CS) touches the lives of every Intel employee every day. As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations, the successful commissioning of new technologies for your discipline, and the support of construction ramps. In addition, you will manage employees and outside contractors who operate, maintain and improve our facilities systems. This position requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform non repetitive, analytical work and provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. This role is accountable to foster a team culture in which safety, procedural adherence, operational excellence and result orientation are the foundation. Our operations leaders are key in developing and growing our relationship with other business groups, such as SPTD, ATTD and ATM
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Owns operations of all Electrical and I&C on Chandler campus
Influence senior management decisions and program implementations.
Influences and partners with other Area Managers to improve operational and non-operational results.
Leads the operations team in unexpected situations such as safety events, operational impacts, etc.
Develops and energizes our operations team through authentic leadership.
Utilizes financial and business acumen in order to manage capital and expense budgets.
Adopts and continuously improves standards and best-known-methods regardless of their source.
Drives cadence and discipline to deliver results on-time and within budget.
Develops forward thinking and strategic planning to anticipate and address site needs.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.
Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 4+ years of experience in Engineering or close related field
8+ years of semiconductor experience with at least 4+ years of process facilities engineering experience.
5+ years of people management experience with proven record of organizational and employee development.
5+ years of experience in Industrial wastewater systems operations, ultrapure water operations and/or total chemical management.
5+ years of experience building and fostering a strong safety culture
