Production Technician

At Diamond Foundry, we hot-forge diamonds in plasma reactors we design and build -- and make diamond jewelry for Leo DiCaprio and you. We are funded by the who's who in technology to end diamond mining for good. We are growing fast and are located in San Francisco (technology), Wenatchee (foundry), Los Angeles (ecommerce) and Shanghai (ecommerce).

We are looking for an ambitious and hands-on process technician to take responsibility for operating high tech plasma based manufacturing equipment. You'll be working with an experienced team of mechanical, electrical, and materials engineers, and will be encouraged to gain experience in different areas. The position will involve hands-on work with complex semiconductor style plasma CVD manufacturing equipment, characterization equipment, and laser systems.


  • Directly supports manufacturing line
  • Reads and follows SOPs and work instructions; uses basic math skills to meet production requirements
  • Uses a variety of vacuum and laser tooling
  • Collects quality data and evaluates data to ensure production requirements are met
  • Identifies issues as they occur and makes appropriate corrections
  • Performs routine and regular preventative maintenance on various tooling as prescribed
  • Ensures and records all proper documentation of all production and testing information


  • Detail-oriented individual
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • 1-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Exceptional safety history
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and high pressure environment
  • Desire to work overtime during busy times
  • High school graduate at a minimum, college degree a plus
