As the producer for Epic's Live Ops team you'll work with multiple disciplines to ensure we are advancing our monitoring capabilities, evolving how the company responds to critical live issues, and driving visibility of the state of our games and services internally. Working closely with our game, publishing, online teams, and more, this role is in the center of our live services operating Fortnite and other Epic products. We’re looking for an individual who excels in organization, has superb communication abilities, and is comfortable managing the resolution of issues in a complex online ecosystem. The ideal candidate is passionate about working in technology and has a long history of working with large scale systems, live operations teams, and software developers in a range of technical environments.
Own the outcome - Build and maintain live operations policies and procedures, considering dependencies across multiple teams to ensure successful releases, monitoring, and tracking of ecosystem wide issues.
Transparency - Provide transparency on ongoing issues, risks, and work streams to stakeholders in order to ensure Epic has clear insight in to the health of our services and games
User Focused - Track live issues affecting end users and ensure they are being followed up on and resolved
Support the Live Ops team with all your production tools . As a producer you should bring superb communication skills. Be able to quickly develop deep knowledge about tools, teams, and technologies. Provide leadership and guidance through solid planning and execution of work. Understand how to manage people to help them do their best work, and embrace and embody Epic Values
3+ Years of experience working in a production role where you've managed cross-functional teams in the creation, delivery, and ongoing support of complex online services.
Deep understanding of Live operations in a massive cloud based Online ecosystem
Exceptional communications skills both oral and written, able to provide the right level of detail and clarity to a variety of audiences.
Ability to create, track, and resolve complex Live issues and postmortem processes
Proficient in running teams with agile methodologies such as scrum and kanban
Strong preference to applicants with cloud system or other technical experience
