Job Summary: Our company is seeking a Retail Associate to join our dispensary team. The Retail Associate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, educating customers on our products, and ensuring that the dispensary is clean and well-maintained. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, a passion for customer service, and a deep knowledge of cannabis products.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to all dispensary visitors
- Educate customers on our products, including strains, dosages, and methods of consumption
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed
- Ensure that the dispensary is clean and well-maintained, including regular cleaning and organization of products and displays
- Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring that all sales are completed accurately and efficiently
- Adhere to all state and local regulations regarding cannabis sales and use
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a retail or customer service position
- Knowledge of cannabis products and their effects
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, but not required
