In close collaboration with the senior director for professional practice for Tower Health and with hospital clinical and administrative leaders, coordinates the hospital’s Journey to Magnet Excellence® and all activities related to achievement of ANCC Magnet designation and re-designation. Coordinates system and hospital-based nursing professional practice programs and initiatives; coordinates hospital shared governance, nursing recognition activities, and career advancement programs. Provides oversight for nursing quality outcome reporting and assures goals and improvement activities aligned with ANCC expectations for Magnet organizations. Serves as the Magnet advisor to the hospital leadership team, liaison to the ANCC Magnet office, chair of the Magnet Steering committee, and member of Tower Health Magnet teams.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Required); Master’s Degree: in Nursing (Preferred)
Certification and Licensure Requirements
- Nurse Executive/Leadership or Quality Certification (Required)
- PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
Experience and Skills
- Magnet experience (Required)
