We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Office Manager/HR Manager to join our growing team and contribute to our mission of promoting health and wellness in the workplace.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate Office Manager/HR Manager with a strong background in both office management and HR management. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering a positive work culture, improving employee engagement, and supporting organizational growth. You will play a crucial role in implementing HR policies, managing office operations, and enhancing the overall success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with departments to develop and execute HR strategies that align with organizational goals and support overall business objectives.
- Onboarding Excellence: Manage and refine the onboarding process to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into their roles and the company culture.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with managers to foster a supportive, collaborative work environment.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve workplace conflicts using professional mediation and effective problem-solving techniques.
- Employee Relations: Handle workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations with fairness, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Administrative Duties: Oversee employee data management, attendance tracking, PTO, payroll processing, and maintenance of HR systems.
- Performance Management: Conduct interviews and performance reviews, providing guidance to support employee development and organizational goals.
- Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information and workplace matters.
- HR Reporting: Provide regular HR updates to stakeholders to keep them informed of developments and metrics.
- Benefits Administration: Act as the primary contact for employee benefits (medical, dental, vision), lead benefits presentations, manage enrollment processes, and ensure accurate benefits administration.
- Policy Support: Address employee inquiries about company policies and the employee handbook, providing clear and accurate information.
- Talent Acquisition Support: Assist with recruitment and onboarding tasks, including job postings, applicant screening, interview coordination, and new hire paperwork.
- Project Management: Manage various projects and processes such as salary and bonus reviews, employee engagement initiatives, and ad-hoc projects.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with management to assess development needs, deliver training, and support career development.
- Office Management: Engage with internal clients to understand business operations and staffing needs, and work with management to develop and implement policies and initiatives.
- File Maintenance: Oversee the organization and maintenance of the HR department’s electronic filing system and documentation.
- Problem Solving: Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address challenges and adapt to evolving situations.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication to effectively interact with employees and convey information clearly.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Interpret and apply HR laws and policies to ensure compliance and adherence to best practices.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Office Manager and/or HR Manager, preferably in a medical or wellness setting.
- Skills:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.
- Experience with payroll systems and a solid understanding of HR laws.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Personal Attributes:
- Hands-on, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Proven track record of effective collaboration with leadership.
- High energy, flexible, and capable of managing both operational and strategic tasks.
- A person of sound judgment, able to establish credibility and act as a trusted advisor to management.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35-40 per week
