We are looking for an external-facing Executive Director of Consulting who is responsible for growth and oversight of offerings for our Human Capital Services team. The successful candidate will build collaborative and productive relationships with clients and Business Development to deliver value and to grow our business while leading a team to ensure the quality and effectiveness of solution and profitable service delivery. Works with Executive Leadership Team to align business growth to business strategy through development of efficient service offerings that resonate in the Federal marketplace. Works with Sales, Capture, and Proposal teams to drive business development and support proposal and pricing efforts.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Lead consulting staff in support of human capital, learning, and organizational change management projects
Coach and mentor consulting staff as part of an overall development program.
Collaborate with Business Development to drive sales and develop consultative solutions to challenges for public and private sector clients
Develop strategies and business plans for advancement of the company’s consulting capabilities.
Write proposals and draft pricing to support responses to solicitations.
Collaborate with marketing to publicize consulting capabilities and individual expertise to address client needs
Support Company sales efforts
Author and present on relevant topics in appropriate forums on behalf of the Company
Maintain professional certification and memberships in appropriate professional associations
Support creation and management of Consulting budget and business plans
Coach and mentor consulting staff as part of an overall development program
Support improvement of operational system, policies, and processes in support of the organizations mission - specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning
Play a significant role in long-term planning, including any initiative geared toward operational excellence
Support the creation and management of the Consulting budget and business plans in coordination with the VP of Operations
Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team

Knowledge of government contract management preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Master’s degree, preferably in organizational psychology, organization development, applied psychology, human resources, or a human capital/learning related field required
7+ years of experience delivering human capital or learning related consulting engagements
Business development or sales experience required, ideally in a consulting and/or client service setting
Experience designing and delivering data-driven consulting solutions in organization development, human capital or organizational change management.
Experience supporting Federal proposals, including leadership roles for technical solution and pricing development
