Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) Job Description
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION:
-Providing direct services to clients by implementing all programs developed and/or approved by BCBA’s/Lead Analysts.
-Managing a small caseload under the direct and regular supervision of BCBA/Lead Analyst, providing Protocol Modification and Family Treatment Guidance.
-Assist BCBA/Lead Analyst in conducting Assessments/Reassessments and write assessment reports.
-Developing programming for clients on an ongoing basis and make sure to keep teaching instructions up to date.
-Writing Monthly reports for each client.
-Conduct support staff, parent and teacher training
-Graphing and analyzing data.
-Attend agency meetings as required.
-Oversight and direct behavioral support team
-Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating professional and caring attitudes and behaviors toward co-workers, patients, and guests.
-Contribute to effective teamwork by combining skills and energies in a coordinated manner, keeping a positive interaction.
-Establish and achieves realistic goals within position.
-Ensure and maintain the confidential nature of all patients and facility activities.
-Build positive relationships with staff.
-Maintain knowledge of emergency procedure; ability to communicate these clearly and accurately to staff.
-Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment.
-Follow Infection Control Guidelines at all times.
-Provide a safe, therapeutic environment for staff and clients.
-Assists in formulating standards for client’s care.
-Collaborates with the staff to coordinate medical management of client care.
-Evaluates client care weekly by assessing clients.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
· Bachelor's level or higher in Behavior Analysis, Psychology or related field. Special education or other certifications.
· BCaBA certification and/or licensed professional valid in the state of Florida with a background in Behavior Analysis.
· Strong knowledge and deep understanding of behavior analytic therapies; experience delivering these services
· Proficient with DTT, ABA Program/Goal Development, ABA Behavior Reduction and Skills Acquisition Procedures, and Staff Training
· Bilingual (Preferred but not mandatory)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
- BCaBA: 1 year (Preferred)
