Wyndham Destinations currently seeks an Accounting and Payroll Project Manager in Orlando, Florida. The Project Manager Payroll will be responsible for managing payroll projects and some payroll processing functions for Wyndham Destinations. This leader will ensure the timely and accurate execution of the payroll processes they are responsible for and the identification and implementation of necessary controls to ensure all ADP deadlines are met and company policies and procedures are followed. This position will also coordinate/oversee payroll projects including implementation of new payroll programs. They will manage escalated payroll issues and special projects assigned to the team, partner with corporate contacts and various internal departments, and focus on delivering Count On Me support.

Primary Responsibilities
Work in conjunction with IT, Operations and HR to understand the sales and marketing compensation plans and coordinate development, testing and implementation of new commission programs
Work in conjunction with Legal and HR to understand payroll compliance and coordinate development, testing and implementation of payroll compliance based on new and existing state and federal requirements
Managers team leadership and training including directing staff on all payroll items
Managers the processing of Canadian payroll
Oversees commission calculation and payroll processing for Contact Centers and other adhoc vendors, teams and processes and ensures deadlines are met
Manage the running of sales and marketing pipelines and reporting in the commission system.
Manages the payroll administrative functions relating to the commission system. This includes but is not limited to calendars, data feed errors and setting up new paycodes/paygroups etc.
Manages reporting requests from legal, HR and other business partners.
Manages compliance, special projects and various reporting and metrics.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
Training requirements
CPP preferred (Certified Payroll Professional)
Knowledge and skills
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and problem solve in a high volume, fast paced, changing environment
A team player who can interact with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
Ability to develop collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of goals
Ability to identify weaknesses and design, implement, test and monitor controls
Ability to identify and resolve relevant issues & notify senior management as needed
Demonstrate good judgment and decision making skills
Lead continuous improvement efforts
Ability to lead, develop, and motivate staff
Effectively manage a team's time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Technical Skills
Intermediate/Advanced Excel and MS Office
ADP/Kronos experience preferred
Job experience
7+ years payroll experience in a large multi-site organization
2-5 years experience leading a team
Project management experience preferred
Timeshare sales & marketing experience preferred
