The Practice Manager will be primarily responsible for direct onsite management of the daily operations of the ambulatory physician practice(s) at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Holy Cross Hospital or various off site locations. The Practice Manager partners with key leaders across Sinai Health Systems various departments in decision making and ensures a bidirectional flow of information. The Practice Manager promotes excellence in all areas of ambulatory operations and serves as the champion for continued process improvement work. The Manager will focus on the patient and family experience, quality and safety, coordination of care across the continuum, use of technological tools and solutions including EMR, metrics reporting, customer service, and oversees the budget, billing and related revenue cycle services.

Supervising, coaching and mentoring a multi-disciplinary team of 15+
Leading the execution of in-clinic operational initiatives
Problem-solving team member and patient problems in the moment
Ensuring our patients are always delighted with the level of care they receive
Ensuring our scheduling and billing processes are executed efficiently
Advocating for your clinic, team, and patients
Supporting and contributing to on-the-ground marketing initiatives
Generally ensuring clinic operations are running smoothly on a daily basis
Provide practice management in support of the physician patient relationship in order to optimize patient access
Manage the practice operations and respond to patient, physician, and employee issues in a timely fashion
Achieve performance standards for revenue cycle, analyze monthly physician income and expenses, manage office expenses, and partner with physician leaders to communicate financial results to physicians and staff and execute Medical Group plans for improvements
Ensure People Management Cycle for physician and staff is consistently implemented to include hiring for fit, successful onboarding, career development and coaching, and performance review

Our ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor degree required, Master’s degree preferred
2 or more years of experience in a supervisory role within a clinical setting
A passion for mentorship and team-development
Previous physician management experience preferred
Financial management, operations management, and Electronic Medical Record experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to build alliances, drive results and manage change
A flexible and positive attitude
A proactive and adaptable working style- able to cover tasks as they arise
A problem-solving orientation and eagerness to identify process gaps and implement practical solutions
340B experience is a plus
Hospital Based Clinic experience is a plus
