Theposition of Controller will manage finance and accounting department activitiesproviding information, primarily financial in nature, about all agencyactivities that will assist leadership and other shareholders in makingeducated economic decisions about the company's future. Responsible for theagency’s risk management plan and asset management. Oversee the activities of the accountingdepartment for the accurate and timely preparation and dissemination offinancial management reports including, but not limited to, internal andexternal monthly financial statements and annual audits and annual budgets,also ensuring regulatory compliance is timely and accurate. Oversee the activities of the accountsreceivable department to ensure the accurate and timely management of allaccounts receivable aging components including billings, cash receiptsapplication, etc; funding service management, which includes weekly fundingreports and customer service; quarter and year-end payroll closing includingfederal and state reports; and check statistic management. Ensure the accurateand timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash,employee expense reports, cash control, payroll processing and payroll taxcompliance. Establish and maintainsystems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes anddata, and enhance the company's value. Oversee management of housing programsand HUD management company.
Educationand Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. CPA certificationpreferred. Experience with medical billing including ODMHSAS, Medicaid andother carriers. Five years of hands-on accounting managerial experience.
