Successful Candidates must have:
The ability to pilot the drone in manual mode is a key skill requirement.
Must have on-the-job experience such as piloting for inspections, or photography, or drone racing etc.
Must be able to use software and computers at the level of a good technician. If the drone needs some minor mechanical or electronic repairs, need to perform these repairs.
Candidates with prior experience in built custom drones or other electronics, or worked in drone service centers, it would demonstrate such skills.
Will be responsible to prepare, initiate and monitor each of the drone system flights. Your work will include setting up equipment including a drone, computers and wireless equipment at the beginning of each shift, moving the drone around the warehouse, swapping batteries and using a computer. The job will include interfacing with warehouse operations staff (our customer) and scheduling drone flights and reporting analytic results.
The ideal candidates could be college students or local people looking for regular part time work. They need to be responsible, reliable and be scheduled for shift work, likely either early morning or late evening.
Key Responsibilities/Functions
1) Initiating and managing drone missions via a laptop
2) Drone checking, battery swapping, inventory control
3) Recording data, generating MS Office reports
4) Communicating with AIMS technical team, remote diagnostics, customer liaison
5) Escalating and reporting issues via a defined notification tree
Qualifications/Background
At least one of the following is required:
1) Experience with computer networks or application development
2) FAA UAV pilot license
Education
Two year Technical/IT degree or Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program
As an Indoor Drone System Operator, you will be responsible for the nightly operations of our AIMS Drone monitoring system inside a large warehouse. You will prepare, initiate and monitor each of the drone system flights. At the end of the night you will prepare performance reports and run analysis computer scripts. Your work will include setting up equipment including drones, computers and wireless equipment at the beginning of each shift. During the night the tasks will include moving the drone around the warehouse, swapping batteries and executing monitoring scripts on a laptop computer. The job will include interfacing with warehouse operations staff (our customer) and scheduling drone flights and reporting analytic results.
Candidates need to be responsible, reliable and be willing to be scheduled for shift work, likely either early morning or late evening.

Pay: $12.86 - $15.32 per hour
