Providence is calling an On-Call Patient Relations Representative (Day Shift) to Providence Medical Group in the Portland Metro Area.

This is an exciting position for someone that wants to interact directly with patients and Providers and help make a difference with easing our patients' way.

This is an on-call position (Minimum of 1 day per week). We are looking for somoene that is flexible to float between our 4 Behavioral Health Clinics when assistance is needed. Those locations include: Portland, Milwaukie and Oregon City.

In this position, you will:
Be the first point of contact to patients or visitors in person or by phone.
Play a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service.

Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of customer service experience
Typing skills (minimum 45 words per minute)
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Windows and Office applications

Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Some college
1 year of medical office or healthcare experience
Basic experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and/or computerized billing systems
Medical terminology experience
