Looking for a company that inspires passion, courage and creativity, where you can be on the team shaping the future of global commerce? Want to shape how millions of people buy, sell, connect, and share around the world? If you’re interested in joining a purpose driven community that is dedicated to crafting an ambitious and inclusive work environment, join eBay – a company you can be proud to be with.
As a Product Manager for Personalization, you’ll work with a world class team of designers, machine learning teams, and engineers to launch new discovery and browsing experiences for over 135 million shoppers worldwide. You’ll design new end-to-end, personalized experiences that inspire people to explore the unique treasures that eBay has to offer, and find their version of perfect - whatever that looks like. Most importantly, you will help millions of sellers and small businesses connect with their perfect shoppers, creating economic opportunities and communities that wouldn’t be possible otherwise.
The Role:
eBay’s vision is to become the best global marketplace for buyers and sellers through a tech-led reimagination of the company. We’re on a mission to become every buyer’s personal shopper, and every seller’s best promoter. Our superpowers? A global inventory of 1.5 billion uniquely listed items that can’t be found anywhere else, and a world-class machine learning and AI team with a track record of innovation. Through more inquisitive recommendations, our team has powered over $1bn of new business over the last few years, and we’re aiming to double that by 2025. We’re working hard to make eBay more engaging and personalized for our customers - whether their Gen Z thrifters, sneaker heads, or trading card aficionados. We hear customers tell us: “eBay should really know me by now,” and we agree!

A typical day might involve talking to Gen Z and enthusiast collectors to understand their needs, rapidly prototyping with designers and data scientists, or working with deep ML engineers building new ways to understand our customers. No matter what, you’ll be pushing the frontiers of what’s possible in the online shopping landscape.
