The agency is currently seeking a Production Artist who will be responsible for the development and execution of all graphic elements from approved designs. The Production Artist will execute accurate file assembly for release to vendors, provide file and die management, create mock-ups, manage color correction and retouching, photo renderings, and produce on-time delivery of quality artwork.

The ideal candidate must possess a high attention to detail, strong proficiency at prioritizing complex tasks within multiple deadlines and deliver artwork that maintains design integrity.

Responsibilities:
Align and meet the needs of Design Managers during the execution phase
Assist in developing line extensions and graphic options from approved concepts
Analyze design in concept development for reproducibility through printing and supplier capability
Prepare artwork files for final execution to printers and other vendors
Ensure final art includes all verified inputs, brand equity elements and follows print specifications: interfaces with internal teams for approvals
Own budget for art delivery suppliers: manages estimate approval and purchase orders
Manages print execution of design intent and print quality for consistency
Review proofs and attend press inspections
Assist in maintaining database of all graphic assets: photography, illustrations, technical drawing, logo’s and final art files
Provide image manipulation, retouching and color correction to graphic elements
Provide technical support to the Creative and Studio team
Continuously seek to improve the execution phase speed, quality, and efficiency

Desired Skill Set:
Proficiency in full Adobe Suite: Illustrator (with an empahasis on production/file execution), Photoshop, InDesign
Design and layout skills in Illustrator
Strong working knowledge of print technology: print processes, substrates, inks and prepress technologies
Working knowledge of technical drawings and general understanding of package manufacturing
3 -5 years of professional experience as a Graphic, Studio or Production Artist
High level of organization, detail management, and project leadership
Ability to work with team members in a matrix organization
BA in Graphic Arts preferred
