Redhorse Corporation is hiring an IT Systems Administrator to provide overall support in our Corporate Headquarters located in San Diego, California. To be successful in this role the candidate should be able to multitask and will be expected to collaborate, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and resolve IT related problems. The candidate will be required to maintain a first-class level of customer services ensuring that all staff and external teams are supported in an appropriate manner. The candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of corporate policies and procedures, and periodically collaborate with vendors to perform compliance testing.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Provide SharePoint support, including migration support to Microsoft SharePoint Online from a hosted file service.
Assis in the design, architecture, availability, reliability, and security of future SharePoint environments and work with department to meet their requirements.
Provide expert guidance and day-to-day support with SharePoint Online.
Define and maintain an organized file structure, maintain security and assign user access rights, assist with updating and publishing products.
Identify, test, install and upgrade new hardware and software solutions both onsite and in the Cloud.
Administer Office 365 environment that includes Outlook, SharePoint, One Drive for Business and Skype for Business.
Solid understanding of TCP/IP, traffic routing and firewalls, load balancing, DNS, SSL Active Directory, Group Policy, SAML (okta SSO), and certificates.
Minimum Basic Requirement for Skills, Experience, Education and Credentials
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
3-5 years of previous experience within a technical support role
2 or more years’ experience as a Network Administrator or equivalent
4 or more years’ experience with all elements of LANs and WANs
Experience in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe, and Outlook)
Critical thinking and decision-making skills coupled with strong analysis and problem-solving skills
Self-starter, driven and able to work with limited direction under target time lines
Collaborative personality enjoys and able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced and sometimes unstructured environment
Able to lead by example and facilitate open communication
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to deal calmly, positively, and professionally in tense or elevated situations
Complete knowledge of company products, systems, applications and current operating systems
The work environment for this position requires an individual to be able to:
Work sitting or standing at a desk or conference table for extended periods of time (1-3 hours), with the ability to shift positions while working: sit, stand, pace, adjust positioning in any of those without issue
Walk short distances in the office to collaborate with co-workers, attend meetings, greet visitors or retrieve documents from the printer
Employ the social skills necessary for engagement and collaboration with team members, other co-workers, customers, and vendors without hesitation or intimidation.
Ability to carry up to 10 pounds
The core working hours for this position are Monday through Friday 9 am to 6 pm. This is an on-call position.
