Summary: This position will work in any variety of warehousing functions. The positions may include shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, order preparation, processing returns / repair, product transport, and basic inventory functions. This position has a weekly schedule of Monday thru Thursday (10 am until 8:30 pm) with Friday/Saturday/Sunday off.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs all jobs in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures or current methods.
- Maintain performance expectations with respect to key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
- Receive and ship products using manual and automated methods in an organized fashion.
- Transfers goods to and from the warehouse using manual and automated machinery.
- Verify receipts and bills against delivery manifest / purchase orders. Must be familiar with basic record keeping.
- Stock goods in correct locations according to company practice using manual and automated methods.
- Pull and label orders using computer generated documents to select goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist in housekeeping of the facility.
- Complete all tasks in a safe manner, following all safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:.
- Adequate mobility to continually walk and stand, pull orders from various rack heights and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs regularly and 175 lbs occasionally.
- Experience with forklift operation required.
- Must have number recognition skills and good hand eye coordination. Must be able to perform basic math calculations for selecting, counting and checking work.
- Computer knowledge is helpful.
- Must be able to read and understand English.
- Ability to determine proper course of action in solving job-related problems.
- Exhibit high motivation and sense of urgency while working in a team environment.
- Must be able to obtain a North Carolina Alcohol Beverage Permit.
Training Requirements: General Safety
- Material handling equipment safety.
- Forklift training.
Minimum Requirements: High school graduate or GED equivalent.Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in warehousing / distribution is preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
