Motor Trend Group is seeking a full-time Manager, Digital Communications for the El Segundo, CA office.

Job Summary & Responsibilities:
The Manager, Digital Communications (full-time, salaried, regular) will own the set-up and deployment of dynamic, content-driven Email and Push campaigns that will drive acquisition and retention. Essential duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Day-to-day execution of Motor Trend’s email program, including: coding emails, creating/segmenting lists, tagging links, setting up tests, building and scheduling email campaigns, quality assurance, monitoring and reporting campaign results.
Assist with the development of creative briefs and assets needed.
Proof read all emails and ensure all messaging is consistent with the creative brief.
Manage email templates, perform A/B testing and analyze the results to improve upon metrics.
Manage the use of digital assets for marketing campaigns and provide creative expertise with regards to imagery (static and video) and messaging.
Execute Push and In-App notifications utilizing digital best practices including segmentation.
Assist in the maintenance and quarterly review of recurring and triggered Email communications and Push Notifications to drive product use and retention.
Identify areas of improvement for digital campaigns.
Working closely with Email Service Provider to QA and troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation and other aspects of email execution.
Maintain and drive timely execution against the Email and Push notification calendar.
This position will not include supervising one or more employees where applicable.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing preferred.
3-5 years creating and executing email and push marketing campaigns with a specific focus on customer communications.
Experience using third-party email applications.
Experienced in HTML and Photoshop or a deep desire to learn these tools.
Experience in subscription-based industry (ideally entertainment, digital or automotive).
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Strong creative eye and ability to whittle down marketing messaging to be concise and snackable.
Ability to leverage analytics and complex data sets to understand campaign performance, identify optimization opportunities, drive decisions and measure outcomes.
A mobile-first mentality and experience building responsive email templates.
Experience successfully managing large-scale email marketing campaigns.
Strong affinity for data, testing and optimization.
Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
The ability to sit for prolonged period of time and view computer screen.
Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Work is performed in an office environment that is well lit and ventilated.
