ACS & Cargo Meetings & Events Co-op reports to Manager Events- ACS & Cargo; seeking qualified co-op students, available for a minimum of 3 alternating work terms starting Summer 2020.
ACS & Cargo Events Co-op will assist in managing small to large-size meetings and events that range in size from 10 to 1,000+ people.
Event management support could include: site selection, agenda/program development, project timelines, pre-event/logistics coordination, food and beverage menu selections, air and ground transportation arrangements, event registration management, housing coordination, budget management, various administrative tasks, mobile app support for signature events and on-site event execution.
The Co-op would also:
Develop meeting materials and "Before You Go" correspondence.
Coordinate with select vendors to ensure services and materials are professional and appropriately reflect company standards.
Assist in building various event registration websites and oversee attendee registration process.
Complete checklists for event to ensure proper execution.
Complete post-event tasks including reconciliation of expenses, evaluation of event, and report out on meeting results; recommend improvements for future meetings.
