New Procedure Center opening in November 2024! Help get us started in a wonderful new clinic, located in Juneau, AK! This clinic will provide Urology, GYN, ENT, Endo, and other specialty service procedures. They will use only mild sedation and administor meds, IVS, monito patients and provide ambulatory services.

Provides support to providers and patients to ensure the highest quality care to patients during procedures. This position functions within the procedure center to maintain effective operations.
- Oversees opening and closing of clinic daily.
- Oversees patient flow and directs care processes.
- Ensures that pre-procedure approvals, authorizations, and consents are in order prior to patient care.
- Assists procedure team during procedures and minor surgeries.
- Coordinates equipment and supplies for procedures daily. Anticipates the surgeon’s preference for certain materials or instruments and be able to respond to these preferences in advance, demonstrates sound clinical judgment; adaptable to changing patient needs.
Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required
- Current full, unrestricted Registered Nursing license in Alaska or other U.S. state required. Direct Hire must have applied for an Alaska nursing license before start date.
- Completion of ADN or BSN nursing program.
- Current BLS certification or within three months of hire and bi-annually thereafter.
- ACLS preferred, to be obtained within 6 months.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience Required
- 2 years of experience as an RN in a perioperative setting.
Knowledge of
- Nursing process and the ability to apply this in the patient care setting.
- Patient safety and infection control principles.
- Customer service.
