Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to perform exploratory data analysis, build technical solutions for enterprise & market data analysis, and organize company efforts around business development and sales. This position will serve as a corporate central function for (1) understanding and presenting on performance of multiple business lines and (2) utilizing technical skills to build solutions or ad-hoc analytics for growing Ascella. Ideal applicants will bring a mix of technical and business skills, but also have a passion for learning and delivering results on a wide range of domains.
What you will be doing
Exploratory Data Analysis: perform market research on potential growth opportunities utilizing multiple data sources and databases. Provide initial understanding and scoping of growth opportunities based on research and analysis.
Reporting and Solution Building: build reports and dashboards for ongoing corporate management. Provide business direction on an internal corporate data warehouse and data processing systems.
Strategic Planning and Business Development: Perform research on specific business development opportunities and synthesize information from multiple sources into concise and clear plans on how to execute against complex requirements - including building customer knowledge, delivery timelines, and competitive analysis.
Leadership Presentation and Communication: Foster and maintain effective communication with corporate leadership on current initiatives and KPIs. Build presentations, craft effective communications and lead discussions with senior leaders of external organizations.
Project Coordination: Help coordinate and manage ongoing procurement activities including coordinating disparate resources, creating standard operating procedures, collating information for proposals and working with external partners.
What you need to be considered for this role (required)
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology or related field
Ability to create and deliver powerful and compelling presentations using data and metrics
Experience with SQL
Familiarity with reporting and analysis
Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to process and organize facts, data, and other information to define a problem and develop effective solutions
Self-motivated, proactive, and independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
The courage to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require it
Expert level experience in Microsoft Word; proficient in Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

Prior experience working with the U.S. Federal Government or the Healthcare IT market
Familiarity and experience with reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.
Programming language experience in languages such as, Python or R
Demonstrated curiosity and flexibility in a growing environment
