The primary function of the Director of Revenue Cycle Management is to direct and oversee the overall policies, objectives, and initiatives of CompuGroup Medical’s revenue cycle management activities. The Director will work cooperatively with the CEO, Executives, Managers and other staff in a professional, positive manner to facilitate setting and meeting organizational goals.
Act as a liaison between all providers and RCM staff in order to promote positive relationships. Help employees achieve their professional goals.
Respond to provider/staff requests accurately and in a timely fashion, either by performing the tasks yourself (for higher level decision making) or delegating them.
Be hands-on in supporting the team with daily tasks.
Present monthly reports to the Board to include revenue and denial trends as well as initiatives to improve efficiencies.
Work daily with the CEO/President to define daily revenue expectations, discuss opportunities and resolve challenges.
Participate in Executive meetings for the purpose of contributing to the implementation of strategic goals. Respond, evaluate and act on all requests made by the Executive Committee.
Present all appropriate Executive Committee business decisions to billing staff, helping to ensure a positive outcome and direction.
Participate in all-staff meetings, review agenda for RCM portion and lead RCM staff meetings.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of the used systems and be prepared to provide support to the Managers when requested.
Conduct a periodic (at least annual) review of the billing service to identify its strengths and weaknesses and make written and verbal recommendations to the Executive Committee for maximizing the billing service’s effectiveness and minimizing inefficiencies.
Set goals for the RCM Department on an annual basis.
Oversight of Performance Measurements and modify them as necessary.
Oversight of the team designated for the implementation and updating of all written RCM procedures and protocols.
Oversight and development of content for existing and new hire training for RCM Department staff.
Ensure new hires and existing staff are properly trained for their respective roles.
Oversee and actively participate in enhancements to the used software products.
Perform other tasks deemed necessary in response to changing organizational needs.
Support executive team in instituting additional measures to scale RCM organization

Manager of Revenue Cycle Management
Comprehensive knowledge of all facets of RCM.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Skill in identifying and resolving problems.
Skill in creating, revising, and implementing verbal and written instructions.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with Executives, management, Providers, and employees.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree required
1 year management experience
3 to 5 years' Revenue Cycle Management Experience required
Alternative to minimum qualifications:
5 years' experience in the Medical Billing field
