As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape the effectiveness of how the U.S. Navy deploys unmanned capability by leading the technical and management oversight to develop and demonstrate fleet integrated, operational prototype of Unmanned Undersea Vehicles (UUV) systems to fill existing mission requirements. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions. On our team, you’ll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like artificial intelligence and machine learning. 7+ years of experience in U.S. Navy, DoD, or DoD Contractor applying complex analytic techniques to address programmatic, operational, or strategic issues;
Experience with the payload integration processes including Submarine Rapid Fielding Temporary Alterations (RF TEMPALTS)
Experience with System of Systems (SoS) engineering development and acquisition efforts
Knowledge of U.S. Navy Submarines including HM&E and Combat Systems, Naval Architecture and Unmanned Undersea Vehicles (UUV)
Ability to display analytical, operational, problem solving, and organizational skills
Ability to display leadership of diverse technical teams or working groups
Ability to articulate complex issues to senior Navy or DoD decision makers
BS degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
Nice If You Have:
Experience with System Architecture development and MBSE techniques
Knowledge of unmanned vehicle payloads and sensors
Knowledge of Acquisition, Program Management, and Test and Evaluation
Knowledge of U.S. Navy Submarine technical design and ocean interfaces
Ability to display advanced operational understanding of U.S. Navy Submarines and the Undersea Domain
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
MA or MS degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
Submarine Officer Advanced Course (SOAC) graduate
