ACCEPT Education Collaborative is a regional non-profit educational organization located in Natick, MA. ACCEPT provides a wide range of programs and services including special education for students with moderate to severe needs, specialized transportation, home-based services, behavioral and educational consultation, and professional development.
ACCEPT is seeking Consultants for our School Consultation & Evaluation Services Department to provide educational and behavioral consultation services to help public school districts in the region build capacity to serve students with disabilities.
Provide consultation services to public school districts’ special education K-12 programs based on the scope of contracted service agreements
Advise district leadership teams on program development and improvement
Provide individual student assessments, such as Functional Behavior Assessments and Transition Assessments
Develop and conduct professional development training for educators on a range of special education topics
Develop new initiatives as they relate to school district demand and the needs of ACCEPT teachers/staff
Other duties as assigned by the Director of School Consultation & Evaluation Services or Executive Director
Minimum of a Master’s degree in Education
DESE licensure in a related field (e.g. Special Education Administrator; Teacher of Students with Disabilities)
BCBA certification/ Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) preferred
At least 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
At least 5 years public school experience
Experience planning and facilitating professional development training for staff
Excellent interpersonal relations and consultative skills
Passionate about coaching educators and improving student outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fluent in MS Office, Google Suite, and online content delivery
Areas of preferred expertise: Special Education Program Development and Improvement, Classroom Behavior Management, Curriculum Development, PBIS, Social-Emotional Learning, Inclusion.
