Wisconsin Aviation is the state's premier, full-service provider of general aviation services including charter, flight training, aircraft rental, aircraft sales, maintenance, avionics, interiors, and line services.
Our corporate headquarters is conveniently located at the Watertown Municipal Airport, five miles north of Interstate 94 at the mid-point between Wisconsin's two largest cities, Milwaukee and Madison, the state's capital.
Responsibilities include performing maintenance on general aviation privately owned aircraft and our rental and charter fleet, which includes light jets. Work involves the inspection repair, and modification of the entire aircraft and special equipment, including the overhaul of some components. Work must be performed according to manufacturer specifications and FAA rules & regulations. Must be able to work with minimum supervision and be task- and detail-oriented.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience working on general aviation aircraft. A vocational/technical mechanical degree is desired and an A&P license/certification is required. Strong knowledge of materials, methods, tools, and standard practices of the aircraft mechanic trade. Skilled in the use of all common and special purposes aircraft maintenance tools and test equipment. Experience with the repair of sheet metal and composite structures. Ability to diagnosis and repair aircraft components to include electrical wiring. Painting skills are a plus but not a requirement. Must bring own aircraft mechanic tools to the job.
