Job Summary
As a Carpenter Assistant, you will work alongside experienced carpenters to learn and develop additional carpentry skills in various construction projects. Must have general knowledge in all facets of carpentry. Trim, rough, remodel.
Responsibilities
- Assist in framing, assembling, and installing structures and fixtures according to blueprints
- Use power tools and hand tools effectively and safely
- Support senior carpenters in Framing, cabinet installation, trim carpentry, and other tasks
- Follow construction site safety regulations and guidelines
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Perform caulking, painting, and other finishing tasks as needed -Ability to read a tape measure.
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or carpentry is required
- Familiarity with construction tools and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn from experienced professionals
- Must be a team player with strong work ethics.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
