Full Job Description
Work across a wide array of health-specific government entities to study and understand the organizational mission, vision, value proposition, strategic focus areas, and stakeholder requirements. Apply and conduct analyses to define, design, develop, and deploy solutions for organizational improvement. Leverage previous experiences and best practices to identify the client's most challenging issues and generate hypotheses to mitigate and resolve these issues. Improve, refine, and develop processes and integrate them into daily operations. Conduct benchmark analyses, develop conclusions, generate strategic recommendations, document findings, author client presentations, and ensure the timely and successful execution of deliverables.
2+ years of experience in a professional work environment
Experience with strategic planning, performance measurement, organizational design, change management, business process re-engineering, lean six sigma, performance management, or knowledge management
Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, including creating presentations that follow sound vertical and horizontal logic
Ability to be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to obtain a security clearance
BA or BS degree required
Experience in the health sector
Experience with building and maintaining client and peer relationships in a team-based government or management consulting environment
Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Visio preferred
Possession of excellent critical thinking, analytical, quantitative, and data gathering skills
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
MA or MS degree preferred
