Job Overview:
This role is responsible for the execution of specialized tasks and functions specifically related to UNFI’s Retailer learning management
service requiring independent thinking and an enthusiasm for helping customers execute their training needs. The Program Coordinator is responsible for executing all processes and procedures, learning all aspects of the business including processing vendor invoices, billing customers, managing data, communicating with retailers and the vendor community, creating reports and financial responsibilities. This role will work directly with the program manager and cross-functionally, with all areas of the company, as well as externally.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinates onboarding and training process for new retailers and facilitates new retailer orientation. Solicits client requirements through interviews, and/or existing system documentation or procedures. Conducts the administration and training of the Learning Management System (LMS), including input, reporting, updates, etc. 50%
- Monitors retailers' progress using system generated reporting. Analyzes reports and provides feedback to retailer ownership team. 20%
- Build rapport with customers through interpersonal skills; confidently converse with and make recommendations to customers and SMEs at all levels of an organization5%
- Analyzes and provides guidance on general education needs 5%
- Documents the results of analysis activities using the appropriate templates or analysis tools 5%
- Identifies areas of potential business risk and communicate these to the Project Leader 4%
- Independently responds to and/or resolves sophisticated training issues and other matters 5%
- Create question-based training content by leveraging your understanding of the Axonify learning methodology and software capabilities. 3%
- Provide input to the evolution of team processes, procedures, and best practices 3%
- Performs other relevant job duties as required.
Job Requirements:
- Education/Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience and training
- Two or more years business, customer service, associate training, financial or related experience
- Two or more years’ experience in the retail grocery industry STRONGLY preferred
- Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies
- Must have strong attention to detail, as accurate review, response and input of information into multiple systems is critical to this position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical to this position
- Ability to connect processes and impact outcomes, based on decisions made
- Strong customer service and communication skills to handle escalated questions and inquiries
- Ability to prioritize and manage against multiple competing priorities
- Proficient problem-solving skills
- Ability to create credibility with our customers and business partners, internally and externally to solve problems and meet goals and objectives
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word essential
- Experience using SharePoint a plus
