The Parker Companies is seeking an Executive assistant to the CEO allowing him to fully focus on his top priorities. The ideal candidate will be experienced in financials, extremely well organized, and poses the ability to keep themselves, and others, on task. This individual must not shy away from conflict and have very confident leadership skills to strongly advise when needed. Ability to work independently and with professional discretion is very important. He or she must be strong with all forms technology, highly trustworthy with business and personal items, and have a professional appearance to represent the CEO and company in public.
This is not a typical 9 to 5 job and will require schedule flexibility, travel, and working some nights and weekends.
Support the business and personal day to day needs of the CEO in a highly professional and confidential manner
Manages special projects to complete critical work for CEO
Prepares memoranda, letters, proposals, charts, tables and other documents using various software packages. Provides support through copying, faxing, and mailing as requested by CEO
Provides periodic reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually)
Coordinate with assigned staff or department; creating moderately complex correspondence, spreadsheets and visual PowerPoint presentations for projects.
Maintain calendar of appointments. Schedules and organizes meetings, conference calls and appointments. Prepares items in relation to meetings, including but not limited to, creation and assembly of documents for distribution, coordination of site reservation and attendance confirmations.
Coordinates travel arrangements including air reservations, scheduling options, hotel reservations, and car rental reservations. Develops travel itineraries to correspond with current schedules.
Can represent or run meetings in absence of the CEO
10-15 Years’ Experience preferably in the financial or real estate industry
Highly Professional appearance
Experience with research and writing reports
Knowledge on multiple platforms including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Discretion and confidentiality is a must
Need to pass a thorough background check
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
