ITAC Solutions is partnered with a Birmingham client in their search for a CRM Developer/ Administrator who is an expert at deploying warehouse technology systems. This person will be responsible for reporting, data analytics, user interfaces and system ownership in the manufacturing industry. This person must have a strong understanding of the complexities of databases and software applications.
This position will be a part of the information systems team and help with providing updates and access to ERP systems, along with analysis of data to make better business decisions. This is a direct hire role that can be fully remote. However, close proximity to Birmingham will be highly preferred. We are not able to accept C2C candidates at this time.
What you’ll be doing (duties of this position):
Perform technical project management and the tasks required to deploy new warehouse management system and related production systems including enhancement projects.
Project Management to include gathering and documentation of requirements, technical specifications, coding for enhancements and upgrades, process and workflow improvement, testing, vendor management, and deployment
Responsible for producing reports from customer data and actively identify and automate workflows to improve productivity of the users
Coordinate with the hardware/server administration team to ensure health of the infrastructure to support the systems.
Provide level I and II systems support and coordinate the support with technical teams.
Develop and execute test cases for various testing techniques to validate and verify the code matching with requirements to designs
Responsible for overall functionality of internal systems and interacting heavily with internal customers of the systems to provide access and training
What you’ll need to be considered (requirements):
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience to demonstrate IT knowledge.
Minimum of 5+ years in administration, deployment, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of supply chain/warehouse/logistics systems.
Perform user administration including the permissions and add/change/delete users
Ability to work closely with technical teams and very strong knowledge of SDLC process
Ability to articulate user requirements, write detailed technical designs, develop and execute test cases, perform light scripting.
Strong analytical, project management and technical problem-solving skills. Formal project management training is a plus.
Manage product vendor for licensing, maintenance contracts and upgrades, while developing user manuals and training aids as necessary.
Experience in the following software tools:
Microsoft SQL Server database
Microsoft tools – Outlook, Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Power BI – a plus.
Microsoft SQL Server SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
