What you’ll be doing…

You’ll be leading the activities of cross-functional teams to drive the priorities of the Customer Authentication Program Management Office. You’ll be managing strategic projects that will ultimately drive customer authentication products and solutions for our Verizon customers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Establish/maintain a Governance Model that houses process/policies/procedures necessary to ensure Customer Authentication fully supports Verizon and its’ customer set.

Collaborate cross-functionally to identify, develop, and execute opportunities and partnerships to ensure security functions are properly prioritized and being developed to fully meet the needs of the business.

Align Security activities with key business priorities set forth by Executive Management.

Communicate with Executive Management to review initiative status, issue escalation and program performance.

Define/maintain roles and responsibilities for all participants supporting the Customer Authentication Program.

Work with PM Representative(s) to ensure proper resource levels, methodologies and processes are applied to achieve the objectives set forth by Executive Management.

Ensure an Agile model is pursued across the teams to help meet business demands in a timely and efficient manner.

Recommend new authentication factors and technologies based on sound research practices that take will deliver best-in-class customer authentication experiences while balance right weight controls that protect customers and Verizon.

Facilitate Education/Awareness related to Customer Authentication needs

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:
Bachelor's degree.

Six or more years of proven program/project management experience with proven track record and experience with deploying and delivering complex solutions across multiple work streams and stakeholders.

Experience in IT, application development and support, and cyber security practices.

Even better if you have:
Knowledge of information security fundamentals, best practices and industry standards with prior responsibilities of protecting information assets.

Knowledge in multiple cybersecurity areas such as Identity and Access Management, Security Governance, Information Risk, Awareness and Education and/or Security Strategy.

Proven expertise in security risk management while considering business drivers and implications.

Specific experience in managing information security functions, strategy and risk.

Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking and/or Agile/Scrum certification.

Project management experience and/or certification.

Proven track record of managing high-performing cross functional teams for high visibility strategic projects.

Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and time management skills along with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities.

Strong relationship skills and collaborative style to enable success across multiple partners.

Proficiency in project management software and tools as well as G Suite and collaborative software as a tool topromote concurrency, efficiency, and transparency.
