The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) is the liaison who works with assigned leaders and will act as a knowledge base and point of contact for all human resource needs specific to our manufacturing facility of 600 employees. He/She will provide advice and counsel to employees and leaders enabling them to make informed business decisions. What You Will Do:
Be a trusted advisor on all people-related issues including employee relations, performance, conduct, development and conflict resolution
Develop professional relationships with leaders and employees to understand opportunities for improved employee engagement.
Identify new opportunities for Human Resources to add value to the business and drive the sharing of best practices to facilitate continuous improvement. Maintain knowledge of progressive Human Resource practices and key trends.
Be current and knowledgeable about applicable company policies and state and federal laws to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
Facilitate resolution of employee relations issues and complaints; conduct lawful investigations as needed.
Develop and deliver management training on Human Resource related areas.
Approachable and fair and willing to spend significant time interfacing directly with employees and leadership.
Work well independently with little supervision as well as balance and complete multiple priorities in a complex and fast paced work environment.
Analyze business requirements, trends and key metrics and partner with the broader Human Resource organization to develop and implement solutions, programs and policies.
Manage FMLA, ADA and unemployment processes and paperwork.
What You Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or another business discipline
Seven plus year’s related experience in Human Resources
Strong decision making skills
Results oriented with the ability to organize, prioritize and implement multiple projects with targeted deadlines
Experience supporting a multi-discipline environment including, Manufacturing, Engineering and Order Management
Experience working in a multi-state, multi-site environment.
Experience partnering with both high level leaders and hourly employees
PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification
