POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Under direction of the school principal, plans and provides for appropriate learning experiences for students in designated subject areas(s), math, reading, etc.
Supports the instructional program to provide an atmosphere and environment conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of individuals to ensure academic achievement for all students Supervises students in a variety of school related settings
Monitors and evaluates student outcomes
Communicates and interacts with students, parents, staff and community
Collaborates with teachers in the development, selection and modification of instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students
Maintains appropriate records and follows required procedures and practices Monitors appropriate use and care of equipment, materials and facilities

Collaborate with teachers and other service providers to ensure that appropriate interventions are provided in classrooms (RtI Facilitator)

Participate in universal screening activities and assist with the analysis of the data to identify students in need of response to intervention services

Use identified scientific, research-based interventions focused specifically on individual student difficulties
