We are looking for a full-time experienced Paralegal to join our team. The Paralegal will focus on working on our Personal Injury Minors Comp cases.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying Minors Comp cases and ensure they are moving forward in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all minor’s compromise petitions, orders, and supporting documentation are completed before the hearing date
- Acting as a liaison between different departments (Statutes, Litigation, Negotiations) and providing updates on the status of Minors Comp cases
- Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars
Skills and Requirements:
- Candidate must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be detail orientated, organized with excellent follow through in order to meet multiple deadlines.
- Candidate must have excellent communication and people skills as this role requires heavy client contact.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance terminology a plus.
- Spanish speaking is a plus
