Full Job Description
Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL) is a multi-program laboratory applying state of the art science and practical, high-value, cost-effective solutions to complex technical problems to protect the nation. Located at the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Savannah River Site (SRS), the laboratory develops and deploys innovative technologies to address some of the nation’s environmental, energy, and national security challenges.
Participate in corrosion evaluation testing, learn about corrosion prevention in the liquid waste system at SRS and Hanford.
(Quantifiable; e.g. Three Years Experience, Bachelors Degree)
Minimum 2.5 GPA required
Must be a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university, or within one year after finishing a degree program. Must have completed freshman year of college.
Chemistry, corrosion, materials science core courses
Must be able to successfully complete the GET training.
Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
