Full-time$2,600 - $3,300 a month
Provides professional advice and assistance to student organizations in planning, organizational development and student activities.

Advises student leaders, boards, councils, and cabinets on organizational development, program planning and fiscal operations.

Facilitates and implements campus activities leadership programs, orientations, workshops, mediations and retreats.

Interprets UH policies and procedures, organizational constitutions and by-laws for student leaders.

Provides on-call support for registered student organizations, students and outside parties regarding university procedures for events held on campus.

Monitors organizational budgets and fiscal operations of student organizations.

Provides guidance and leadership for compensated student leaders.

May prepare contracts with vendors for services provided to student organizations in compliance with university guidelines and policies.

Assists in the maintenance of required records for student organizations.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned.



Bachelor's Degree and 1 year experience.

Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed.

Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.

Additional Information:
Advises on all facets of media publications and organizational development to The Cougar, The and Cooglife.

Supervises in-house production projects and staff for the Center for Student Media and provides operational support to revenue-generating activities involving publication components.

Coordinates distribution efforts for all Center for Student Media publications.

Develops journalism-focused training, workshops and seminars.

Maintains ties with relevant faculty and staff to assist in supporting educational and production efforts.

Salary: 2,603.00 - 3,319.00
