The Senior Vice President of Food and Beverage oversees food and beverage leaders and provides operation oversight and support to all Crescent Hotels and resorts properties. This individual is directly overseeing culinary training, menu development for new build full service hotels and signature restaurant concepts. Key areas of focus are leading and managing kitchen design, OS&E specifications, menu and recipe development, recruiting and training of culinary talent. Additionally, this role supports fiduciary performance responsibility for culinary operations including all relevant cost metrics. This role also requires a polished communicator for interacting with ownership groups, corporate leaders, and property teams.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Kitchen design and OS&E.
- Recruitment of culinary leadership.
- Onsite opening and training support.
- Menu development: banquets & catering, restaurants, bars, and in-room dining.
- Product specification.
- Food and beverage brand standards.
- F&B operational tools.
- Signature Restaurant Concept Development and Execution.
- Lead kitchen design & OS&E.
- Develop menus and recipes.
- Recruitment, Hiring, and Training of key management level culinarians.
- Lead Culinary Management Training Program.
- Lead recipe costing process.
- Lead food safety & sanitation training per brand standards.
- Develop tool for all F&B operations.
At least ten years of food and beverage experience in the hospitality industry required.
Direct experience with third party hospitality management group required.
Hotel and restaurant opening/pre-opening required.
Ability to read, write and speak the English language fluently.
Ability to travel as needed.
Previous Director or Food and Beverage operation experience preferred.
Brand experience preferred (Marriott, Starwood, Hilton, Hyatt).
Third party management experience preferred.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent time management and problem resolution skills.
Thorough knowledge of Human Resource practices and procedures.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
