What does this role entail?
Pro-actively generate, maintain and evaluate budgets
Develop year-end forecasting for membership budget
Effectively recruit, select, and develop assigned team
Connect with new members as well as current members
Oversee member retention strategies
Champion the member experience by overseeing SEER strategy implementation, survey, and feedback reports
Actively support development director by cultivating member donors, and deepening relationships with top users
Assist with member service support including front desk, tours, and member appreciation when necessary
Staff liaison in Annual Support Campaign
Oversee Corporate Wellness partnerships
Ability to work effectively with others in alignment with the YMCA 4 core values
What do I need to bring do the table?
Three years’ experience in membership or customer service field
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to initiate member interaction and conflict resolution
Experience effectively leading teams and implementing initiatives
High skill level in planning and implementation of administrative procedures and the ability to enforce safety regulations
Two years supervising five or more staff
Demonstrated ability to meet goals, objectives and deadlines
Demonstrated ability to monitor and develop budgets
Knowledge of and previous experience serving diverse populations
Passionate commitment to the YMCA mission and communities we serve
Fundraising experience preferred
YMCA Team Leader Certification preferred
Must have visual, physical, and auditory ability to act swiftly in emergency situations
CPR and First Aid, both Adult & Infant/Child, certification required within 30 days of hire and must be from one of the following certifying organization:
American Red Cross
American Heart Association
American Safety & Health Institute
