Clinical Services -Provides clinical services in multiple modalities according to imaging practice standards with equal time spent in each modality based on OU needs and acts as a resource to imaging students and other technologists to ensure optimal department functions. Administers sound patient care practices according to hospital and department policies and procedures, to ensure the safety of the patients. Demonstrates radiation protection/ safety for patients, staff and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines, to ensure the safety of the patients and staff. Maintains equipment, exam rooms and work areas in a neat and safe condition, to ensure the safety of the patients and staff. Ensures quality patient care and customer satisfaction through optimal imaging. Demonstrates proficiency in two or more imaging modalities. Demonstrates the initiative to stay abreast of current technology and shows evidence of professional growth. Develops and assists in continuous performance improvement within the department in order to maintain optimal quality patient care. Demonstrates independent judgment necessary to support an effective work environment.

Graduate of an accredited school of radiography.
Additional training in one or more modalities.
Proficient in 2 or more modalities within 1 year of hire into position. Must be able to perform in 2 or more modalities with at least even amount of time spent rotating in each annually based on the needs of the OU.
PRN to work at Ashburn, Cornwall and Dulles South
Must work one major and one minor holiday at a minimum
Must be proficient in CT and x-ray
