- The Project Analyst performs under the direct supervision of the Patient Care Manager and the Director of Emergency Services and is accountable for providing leadership in planning, implementing, evaluating, and integrating performance measurement and improvement activities.
- Facilitates the improvement of patient care processes and outcomes using evidence-based approaches with the input and clinical experience of those who will be providing the care.
- Performs data abstraction and analysis for all required performance improvement measures with responsibility for leading improvements.
- Responsible for patient outcome information management functions including design, analysis, and interpretation in the EMR.
- Collaborates with administrative and clinical leaders to resolve outcome issues.

- Demonstrates the ability to analyze data in order to drill down on specific issues to formulate an action plan and implement those for corrective action.
- Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with other departments of the hospital as well as physicians.
- Demonstrates the ability to teach different processes and educate on approved processes to the ED staff.
- Demonstrates the ability to perform as an ED RN when needed in the department.
- Demonstrates the ability to schedule meetings and lead to discuss the data collected.
Qualifications:
Education/Skills
Graduate of an approved non-online nursing program required
Work Experience:
3-5 years Emergency Department RN experience preferred.
Certification/Licensure-DUE UPON HIRE
- Licensed RN able to practice within the State of MS
