Full Job Description

Northland Drying, LLC is currently looking for a Maintenance Technician - Electrical for the Arlington, MN location. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Replace, repair, troubleshoot, calibrate or clean electrical, instrumentation and automation systems
Uses hand tools and testers to maintain and repair motors, starters, drives, low-med voltage systems and instrumentation throughout the entire plant
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose causes of electrical problems or failures for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair
Ability to inspect electrical systems and their components for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance
Experience installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting/power systems
Familiarity with electrical construction practices including threading, bending, and pulling/removing wire.
Experience with installing conduit and cable tray systems
Ability to identify, communicate, and isolate electrical hazards.
Ability to read drawings of electrical systems for the purpose of determining the efficient installation of new or upgraded systems
Prior experience performing related duties
Demonstrate problem-solving skills necessary to troubleshoot production issues and make decision based on facts at hand
Inform management of deficiencies which may cause accidents, injuries or loss of productivity
Complete all required training, including basic safety courses and food safety training
Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent
Complete all required training and basic safety courses
Able to work in a fast pace environment
Reliable and punctual, respectful of work times
Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Ability to lift 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
