Internship Qualifications:
Must be a junior, senior, or graduate student at an accredited college or university
Appropriate major in related field to desired position
Previous work experience
Works well in a team environment
Commitment to 16-20 hours per week during semester
Provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Computer literacy in MSOffice (or other programs if the position demands it, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
Can provide own transportation to and from Bay Cities
US Persons Only (US citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugee or asylee - all require proper identification and documentation). No Visa sponsorship

Researches industry competitors and produces competitive analysis report for internal teams
Assists in creating monthly reports to internal teams on website analytics, social media actions, education/promotional plans, success stories, etc
Explores potential new products and markets to be targeting
Develops social media posts for future content on our platforms
Participates in promotional strategy sessions for upcoming collateral and advertisements
Performs Cold calling & lead qualification
Assists with Trade show coordination and follow up
Assists with PowerPoint presentations
Performs other duties as assigned

Designer (Graphic/Structural):
Prepare detailed sketches and samples for packaging products
3-D renderings
Make different styles of packages utilizing Cad/Cam table and Cut out multiple runs of D/C's
Perform ISTA transit testing and participate in product testing
Perform basic math and geometric computations in determining the size and scaling of modelsand products
Programs: Artios Cad, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Strata

Human Resources:
HR Admin & Support: Process personnel actions; maintain employee files; provide HR administrative support. Records Maintenance/Retention
Recruitment: Assist with job postings and resume screening, interview setups, answering questions from applicants
Training: Schedule training, assisting n preparing and carrying out training sessions
Reports & Special projects: Assist with updating HR reports and special projects, as needed

Lean Manufacturing/Operations:
Supports the production team utilizing lean principles and tools
Standardize work instructions
Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
Error & Mistake Proofing
SMED Setup Reduction
Monthly quality metrics and reports

Information Technology:
Workstation Support: install software, machine setup, map drives, install printers
Troubleshooting: connectivity issues, hardware, software, network
Service Desk: support mobile devices, tablets, laptops, applications
Assist with system upgrades, backups and reporting

Accounts Payable/Receivable
Credit checking
Bank reconciliation
Month end close
Internal and external audit
Additional ad hoc projects

Assist in buying supplies & materials
Assist Purchasing Manager with cost reduction strategies.
Obtain quotes, process purchase orders, contact vendors and expedite orders.
Document processes, data entry, data collection and general purchasing administrative duties.
Assist in material and supplier research for projects.
