Employee performs front-line receptionist duties for the human resources office, answers telephones and receives visitors; responds to inquiries or directs them to appropriate source for resolution for the human resources office. Schedules human resources meetings and updates calendar for conference room. Responsible for weekly ordering of office supplies. Receives, sorts, processes and distributes all incoming mail, work requests, and packages. Other clerical duties as assigned.
Accurately files/scans personnel and other human resources files
Manage the tuition reimbursement process
Verify I-9, ensure all new hire paperwork is complete and accurate
Update routine employee demographic information in multiple systems
Completion of high school, including course work in secretarial studies and three years of experience in clerical services/office support; or approved combination of education and experience is required.
Professional experience in Human Resources is preferred.
Intermediate skills in Excel.
Knowledge of most current software used in word processing, electronic calendar and electronic mail.
Ability to operate routine office equipment such as multi-line telephone system, microcomputer, copier, and fax.
Ability to interact effectively with others to determine needs and resolve conflicts
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to the office of human resources code of ethics.
Hours Per Week: 37.5
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
Compensation: $17.18 per hour plus excellent health insurance, paid leave and tuition reimbursement.
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
