The purpose of the class is to provide responsible administrative and clerical support to help ensure effective and efficient Probate Court operations; to provide professional and courteous customer service at all times, and to perform related work as required. The class works within a general outline of work to be performed, and develops work methods and sequences under general supervision.
Requires high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by formal training, special courses or self-education that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of one year of college education or specialized advanced training in secretarial science, office administration or a closely related field; Associate’s degree is preferred.
Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Must be capable of being bonded and passing a SLED check and drug screening. Requires over two years and up to and including four years of experience.
