We are currently looking for an energetic, positive, hard working and self-motivated banquet manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to manage the seasonal operations at Lawn on D. The ideal manager must possess the ability to provide consistent, friendly, and responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all our guests at the Lawn on D and lead our team through the extremely busy season.
Lawn on D is a 2.5 acre vibrant outdoor space capable of holding up to 4000 guests for private functions, catered events, concerts, weddings and more. At the Lawn on D we are host the best outdoor experience in the Boston area.
- Oversee the execution of all events including logistics, timeline, food and bar menus and set up of events.
- Supervise staff as they execute the event from set up, through the live event and in the post event breakdown.
- Hire, train and develop hourly staff
- Guarantee that all guest expectations are exceeded
- Maintain open communication with sales team, general manager, and chef
- Weekend and evening/night availability
- Strong decision making abilities and leadership skills
This job is perfect for experienced banquet or restaurant manager who is looking to further their Food and Beverage career. We are looking for managers with at least 2 years of food and beverage experience in a leadership capacity.
