Summary:
Responsible for developing the assigned market by expanding the customer base and market share through the selling of deposit and loan products. Implements strategies to maintain customer retention standards. Produces commercial/agriculture loan volume in excess of $5 million dollars annually. Develops initiatives that focus on defining and meeting customer needs while increasing profitability for the area. Manages Business Bankers within the market. Works closely with Operations Manager and Head Tellers to ensure communication is maintained within the market's branch network.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Business Administration, Financial Management or other related field. Five to ten years of related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid Ohio Driver's License.

Experience: Five to ten years of related sales experience. A thorough understanding of the banking and lending industry to include compliance. Two years of management experience in a sales capacity. Previous annual commercial/consumer loan volume in excess of $5 million dollars. Formalized credit training or equivalent credit risk experience required. Underwriting experience preferred.

Essential Functions:
A: Job Specific:
Meet individual and market production goals in commercial lending.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the Lending Policy and documentation procedures as they relate to agricultural and commercial areas.
Ensure that all credits conform to the Commercial Loan Policy.
Underwrite documents and provide funding to each approved applicant in conformity with the Lending Policy. Oversee the loan process to include the accuracy of loan documents for the market.
Assist with the collection of any outstanding loans. Meet past due goals. Monitor loans and work with customers to reduce charge offs.
Work closely with loan processors to ensure loan package is complete and that all the necessary documentation is on file.
Assist Credit Analysts with complete and accurate financial and background information to complete underwriting.
Meet individual deposit sales goals and oversee the market's production in the areas of commercial loans, deposit accounts, credit card sales, automobile loans and personal lines of credit.
Travel throughout the market to develop and maintain customer relationships. Communicate business trends to marketing and the product development committee to ensure viability of products.
Work closely with marketing to increase revenue both inside the bank and within the market.
Perform market analysis to identify potential products and/or areas to increase revenue.
Represent the bank at local community events.
Maintain a charitable contribution budget and operate with the parameters of that budget.
