Account Manager - *New Position

The Account Manager (AM) will be responsible for maximizing the retention and enrollment rates for Camp Invention, Club Invention and Invention Project programs in a specific geographic region. Through early communication, quality coaching and training and one-on-one strategic planning, the AM will work with local site directors to ensure that all tools are being employed to ensure growing enrollment and customer satisfaction. The AM will work closely with the Regional Program Development Manager(s) for seamless transitions between securing new business, maintaining existing accounts and developing integrated relationships at the district level.

Position Responsibilities:
Drives and increases sales of the NIHF K-12 programs in assigned districts; identifies opportunities for expansion within the educational marketplace, building partnerships at the regional and state level
Communicates programs’ mission and value to a broad audience, delivering messaging that connects with our target audience of parents, students, educators and school administrators
Expands the reach and impact of the program while managing and supporting existing customer base
Trains and motivates program staff to drive enrollment and ensure delivery of a first-rate experience, leaving participants and parents completely satisfied with their camp experience
Oversee regional marketing efforts; attends conferences to promote program
Manages administrative logistics of establishing and running camps, inclusive of marketing, training, and distribution of program materials
Meets and exceeds sales targets
Manages a regional budget
Minimal travel is required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Superior interpersonal and business communication skills that are customer-centric
Ability to see the big picture while managing day-to-day logistics

Credentials and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of one year inside and/or outside sales experience
Experience working with educators, the education market and/or local educational communities preferred
Direct or support role experience working in geographic territory sales
Experience managing, motivating, and mentoring contracted staff
