Heartland School Solutions is a fast growing, computer software and service company in the School food service marketplace. We are seeking self-motivated, personable individuals with an aptitude toward training and customer service. We are hiring over 50 ‘peak season’ part-time and full-time employees to prepare our customers for the start of school.
Technical Support Specialists will assist with software implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Customer Service Specialists will assist parents with our school pre-payment software product.
Customer Service Experience – 6 months or greater
Strong communication (written, verbal and listening) skills, intuition and follow-through; combined with professional phone etiquette and empathy
Solid Computer skills to include:
understanding of web browsers and internet; working knowledge of Word, Excel and Email.
External Customer Call Center (Service or Tech Support)
Exposure to payments industry or related (credit card, banking, financial)
These qualifications are preferred for the role and/or consideration in the Technical Support function:
Ability to relay technical information to non-technical users
Proven ability in the understanding and support of software programs
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Standard and Express editions
Ability to interpret technical manuals, operating instructions and procedures
Experience with quality assurance and testing
Detailed and organized
Successful candidates will be self-directed, flexible and adaptive, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. $13 - $15 / hour. Seasonal employees are not benefit-eligible but will have the opportunity to apply for any regular position that may be available during the course of the assignment.
Onsite interviews will take place at our current Elmgrove Road, Rochester, NY office over the next week. However, the role will be located at our new office on Jefferson Road, Henrietta NY.
